This will be my last post from Melbourne because today I am leaving.
It was really fun here and I am going to miss everyone I met. They were so nice, kind and welcoming to me and I really appreciate that. If any of these people, you know who you are, happen to be reading this; I would just like to say thank you.
It's not just the people I will miss, but I will also miss the culture that we just don't get back home. "What is that?" you may be asking. Well, it is the café culture I will miss. In what I am used to, if the coffee shop is full, you're out of luck. Here, if the coffee shop is full, there is most likely one next door.
Overall, I can say I am really going to miss Melbourne.

You may be wondering if I tried Vegemite.
I did. It tastes bad. According to one of my Australian friends, you either love Vegemite, or you totally hate it. There is no in between.

ReplyDeleteEveryone is missing you here at st.kilda primary. I agree with you about the vegemite thing. It is awful. Hope you can tell everyone in Canada about the ' very wet walkathon ' we had on Monday .
