The Great Barrier Reef

Hi guys!
I recently went to the Great Barrier Reef, a world wonder.
It was so awesome, for the most part anyways.
We went up to the reef with a group called Reef Magic. The waves were really calm that day, which made for calm sailing. Now,  everything would have been alright if I hadn't gone into that bathroom. It smelled horrible and I can tell you it was probably the rockiest place on the boat. Afterwards, when I came out, I was feeling fine. But a few minutes past. A few more. I started to feel sea sick. Remember, this is coming from a girl who as never, not once ever, gotten sea sick before as far as I can recall. Finally, we came to a stop. We were at the reef. Everybody thought I would be fine now that we had stopped moving.

*WARNING*
If you don't like hearing about people being sick, don't read on!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't recommend you read this whilst eating

Where was I?
Oh yes, at the end of the boat ride, I walked inside of the cabin to get off the ship. Suddenly, I felt as if I was going to vomit. Then, I tapped my dad on the shoulder and before he could do anything, I  puked up my obviously not-well-chewed breakfast, only narrowly missing my dad's shoes.

I felt icky for a while, but it got a lot better

*ALL CLEAR*

If you listened to the recommendation and still read it, you can start eating whatever you were eating before I stopped you

Next, we started to do a bit of snorkelling in the designated snorkelling area. Reef Magic had their own huge reef fish named Wally. He was SUPER CUTE! The person taking underwater picture would rub her fingers together as if she was going to give him food and Wally would come racing to her. Then she would position the fish for a picture. He must sometimes get food, otherwise he wouldn't come.

We also saw a tone of what I am calling Rainbow Fish. Their scales were just so reflective which made light that hit it turn a multicolour.  There were also Angel fish and Palette Surgeonfish (the fish that looks like Dori from Finding Nemo) and some Yellow Tang fish and some little grey fish that, even though they are almost stepped on constantly, hang out near the entry to the snorkelling. I also saw a cool anemone that whenever you sent water towards it, little bristles on the top would sway.

We didn't see much more than that until our afternoon adventure snorkel tour.
For the first little while, we didn't see much besides some interesting coral, including a boulder coral, and some fish. Then, 15 minutes into the tour, we saw the back of a Reef Shark. Unfortunately, that was all the Reef Shark we got to see. But we also saw a turtle who was SUPER CUTE!   I just loved seeing a turtle. :):)

That's all for now!!!
